The foundation of this work is based on my commitment to deepening my awareness within my life experiences, and moving towards the challenges and discomforts that arrive. Moving closer to and becoming curious about perceptions, belief systems, and feelings within my body. Challenging myself on the habits, reactions, and responses to certain triggering and challenging circumstances. Thus inviting the ability to become more clear, responsible and at peace with challenge, pain, and conflict. Via this continuous process, the quality of being present with others without judgment becomes effortless. The latter is a broad encapsulation of what you will begin to unravel and deepen within your own experience.

 

The heart of this work is to deepen the relationship towards yourself. Which begins by expressing and acknowledging the truth of your experience. if you are reading this you are showing a quality of curiosity, and a will to commit to feeling more at peace within, even if we don’t work together, you are acknowledging your experience and considering possibilities to support it. A big part of processing your truth is gaining recognition of the amount of love you already show your body which one can easily become ignorant to.

 

Life is experienced via feelings, It is described from the standpoint of what we feel. When there is a continuous experience of pain, anger, resentment, shame, fear, anxiety or sadness, it is a feeling highlighting what requires your attention. Similarly, if you cut your arm badly, it will create sensations to put your attention towards what needs it, when that happens and you respond intuitively and consistently it heals and the pain dissipates. The difference with emotional pain is that we are not taught how to meet it, we are not taught why emotions or pain persist in the body, and we are not taught how to regulate our nervous system when under a perceived threat. Within working together you will begin to cultivate how to meet these experiences with love and clarity.

 

You may be seeking support due to many facets creating discomfort in your body or maybe just one particular challenge you don’t know how to respond to. Whatever the experience may be, there will always be a catalyst to your experience and together we will begin to unravel more clarity here. Childhood is typically when most suppression of authenticity and belief systems about others, the world and yourself are created. These can be obvious but also more subtle events. A compromise of safety where attachment to the need to survive becomes superior to authenticity. ‘I am not good enough’ is a common belief paired with a simultaneous feeling of anxiety. This internal system creates havoc by restricting life, existing with edges and doubt in your body. a simple way to put it is, living in the past while existing in present, which is how I would describe a trauma response. We all do this to some degree in reaction to certain triggers. it’s not about eliminating feelings and beliefs, this work is a process of welcoming them in without judgment, understanding and feeling them.

 

Feeling sensations that are experienced is an important part of this work. When we hold onto feelings without processing them and expressing them healthily they manifest into more discomfort, pain and beliefs which do not serve us. The latter being one of the main causes of illness, the impact of holding onto emotions and judging oneself creates resistance and stress in the nervous system leading to possible immune disorders, post-viral conditions, cognitive conditions and a whole host of other possibilities of dysfunction. The function of all these symptoms and what we know as conditions is to guide you towards what needs attention, symptoms are a signpost to what to explore. The emotional system works similarly to the immune system, it filters in what it needs and expresses through detoxification what it doesn’t. If the pathogens stay dormant they manifest into more pain and dysfunction. Feeling sensations generated in the body creates a high frequency of vitality by creating more safety and clarity within.
